My Western Herman's tortoise 3yrs old. When it is warm enough I put her out in her garden enclosure which has a mesh bottom and top and is steel all around the sides. She has a house and lots of plants but keeps burrowing. I normally did her out and bring her in at night. But tonight I have left her out. It's not due to anything less than 10°. The thing that is worrying me is if she is digging down during the day she won't be getting and light. What should I do to keep her healthy?
