Hi silly question I was just wondering whether horsefield tortoises grow new scales on their legs because I have a one who is almost 3 and he looks like he has lost some and I can't find any trace that this has happened. | |

Hi Does the area look sore? I have not heard that torts loose their scales, maybe someone else can help, sorry! | |

Hi The area looks ok not sore you can just see his skin and small scales so maybe he is just growing and getting new ones I just wasn't sure whether this happened but thank you for answering my post. Lindsay | |
