Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help? I'm going to stay at my parents house for the weekend and I don't want to leave our baby Hermann home alone. I'd be so worried about her turning upside down under her lamp or something. I don't want to cause her any unnecessary stress. If I take her in a pet carrier, and put in some of her usual substrate etc, is it ok to leave her in that for the weekend or should I take her whole table with all the trimmings? SammyB

Hello Sammy, Either take the full set up or turn the UVB bulb off (& heat source, if a tube light,) & leave your tort. at home. The latter would be less stress, provided that such trips are just occasional. Torts should not be transported in pet carriers, but carefully packed in a small container, which is then wedged, to prevent them being flung around in harsh braking. Regards, Tom
