hi, my boyfriend got 2 yellow bellied terrapins 4yrs ago and they are male and female, now the female has started attacking the male that badly that we have had to split them into separate tanks and problem is we havent got the space for 2 tanks and if they were put back together 1 of them will end up dead. I have tried rescue centres but they are rejecting them, please can you help? as it is very upsetting watching them like this Rach

Hi Rach, I am sorry to hear of your predicament, unfortunately all rehoming by TPG has been suspended, but we only dealt with the rehoming of tortoises not turtles. All I can suggest is that you try the various turtle groups, eg British Chelonia Group to see if they have any suggestions. Regards Vivienne

Hi Pink, the person you are contacting may not see your reply as their post was made in Feb, you could try to privately message her, by clicking on her name in the title bar, this should bring up a message form. Regards Vivienne
