Hello, 

I have a few questions if that is ok.  I have a 2 year old Hermans tortiose.  We sometimes go to our caravan.  I have plenty of people to look after my tort while I am away but I would like to take him with us.  My questions are:-

Im looking to get a smaller tort table for if we take him to the caravan as the one at home is large.  I have heard that some people use the indoor rabit hutches, these have plastic bases, would it be ok to use the sun glo 125w light in this?

Next question is could the tortoise do withought the uv light occasionaly while away, I would be planning on putting him outside in a little protective frame weather permitting?

Sorry last question is I am making him a large outdoor pen for our garden at home, I have heard that for a wooden base a wooden cold frame, or wood for raised bed could be used for the base, what if this wood has been tanalised in some way, would this be safe?
