Added a coldframe to the outdoor enclosure. Certainly allows the torts to move out of the wind and move into a warmer area when it turns cold and adds protection. Seen a hanging paraffin heater for £9.99 that I am tempted to put into the coldframe also but I wonder what experience others may have had with one of these? Or what is your preferred source of outdoor heating?

I wouldn't use parafin around animals, it smells dreadful.

Sue is right, it smells horrible. Oil filled heaters are the best you can buy them from argos quite cheaply
