Hi we have a horsefield tortoise, he is 3 years old but we have only had him since April this year. He has lived in our garden most of the time, occasionally I have brought him in and put him under the sun lamp, I have a indoor run for him using an old underbed storage box, we used this before we made the garden secure. We now need to know how to hibernate him or prepare rather. We have decided to use the box method and put him in the basement of our house. Any help gratefully received Jan
