we have two spur thighs, they love rocket watercress,spring greens and lambs lettuce. however we strugle to idetify other food items they may enjoy and any suggestions for their diet would be great | |

There are lots of places which show which weeds are best for tortoises. Mine is here www.tortsmad.com/diet.htm I would avoid greens, if you mean cabbage or the cabbage family, as this prevents calcium being taken up by the bones. Watercress needs to be fed only sparingly for the same reason. Sue | |
