Hi I am new to this site but need advice on how to go about rehoming male and female horsefield tortoise, I have emailed this rescue site but after sending my email on another page it stated that they no longer reply to emails so has anyone any ideas, ideally the male could do with other females as he pesters the one I have so badly and was told that more females in with the male takes the problem away, but I do not have space for anymore, I really need them rehomed with someone that has experience, how do I do this?

Do you have any more photos? Are you sure they are both horsfields? The pic is not very clear, but one looks more like a hermans, although that could just be the camera angle. If you put more pics up the species can be ID'd for definite and we could go from there. Whereabouts are you. I do know of someone who may be able to help with the female and have a list of rehomers from my website who may be able to help with the male. As you say, they do need to be rehomed seperately or to a home with more females to get the ratio right. Hope this helps, you can contact me on wizzasmum@aol.com too if the the links are not working. Hi just wanted to ask if the horsefield torts are still in need of a home. I would be more than happy to look after the female one, we have horsefields and we would send you any pictures of our set up.Any more info required please ask. Kind regards Shirley
