My tortoise lives outside and likes to dig. she dug until she had no nails. They do not seem to be growing back. What to do? Is this ok? She loves in an enclosure that is about 12 feet long and 8 feet wide. We plant it with natural plants for her to eat. She appears healthy.

I've never heard of this happening before. Would you please mind giving us more details on your enclosure please and whether you have a heated area for your tortoise?
