could somebody please help, i am a new member and tortoise owner, I came home from work tonight and my tortoise has pooed white, there was also black poo is this serious.

Hello Sharon,
It's quite normal. As you read up on their biology you'll come to understand what the 'white stuff' is & the reason for it.
