I would like to rehome 3 Female Hermanns Posted: 28/08/2013 by stanley123
Hi there,
I have a 42 year old male Hermanns tortoise called Stanley. One of my aunts bought me Stanley when I was born and ofcourse he is still going strong now...... He has a great personality, he follows one of my cats round like she's his best mate, he climbs one of the many slopes we have made for him and comes in our kitchen for cucumber daily and given the chance, he nibbles at my daughters toes!!!
Stanley has a lovely large secure enclosure which he sleeps in at night but as soon as the door is opened in the morning he is off on his adventures. We have a reasonably large garden for him to wonder, he has access to our green house (more slopes) and he likes to bask in my raised beds !!!! We have decided that now the children are growing up we would like to expand our brood (that is tortoises and not children !!!) so upon reading countless articles feel 3 females would be great. My husband will build another enclosure so I can quarantine each female individually for 6 months to give them the best chance of getting along....
If you have a female Hermanns that you can't keep any more, please consider us. I will put photos on shortly of the garden, Stan and the enclosure. Your tortoise will have a great life with us
Thanks Fiona - Nottingham
