Runny nose
Posted: 03/06/2014 by midorigoi.1

Hi

One of my older torts keeps getting rns
She's been to the local vets a few times but they said she had a slight vitamin deficiency, she picks up for a few weeks then starts bubbling again, obviously I can't keep putting her in the vets every few weeks but need to get it sorted
Anyone have any good advice or recommend any good tort vets in the Wirral area ?
Thanks carl

Hello Carl,

There is a specialist vet at an establishment in Liverpool, on Mondays only. That is what is needed.
Click on the "Vets and ….." box on the left.

Regards,
Tom

That's the one, let us know how it goes, in 2 or 3 months.

Hi,

My torotise has a runny nose last year, the vet gave her antibiotics.  I bring
her in every night (I bought a small indoor hutch) and her nose is fine, if I leave her outside I find that her nose
runs.  The secret is to keep your tortise warm at all times.

They've all got a small shed that's split up and I've put a small heat matt in the corner were she sleeps and there a light on all night to keep the temperature up but the vet just kept giving her injections but there was no change !

Couldn't get her in the specialist get last week but I'm going to try again tomoro
Thanks
