My partner was bought a horse field tortoise for Christmas (lagoona) , we have gone out and bout all of the equipment, we have a tortoise table the uv lamp wth the heat Matt on also in the bed area, this on for most of the day then at night when it we turn the uv lamp is off the heat Matt stays on for her, my question is how much heat should there be for her in her bed area as the both of us are very new to this, plus also what is the best heat Matt for her bed area

Heat mats are not good for tortoises, so it's best removed.

At night room temp. is fine, horsfields are hardy.

I trust it's not in a vivarium.
