I'm looking for a legitimate UK breeder of Tortoises.  I don't currently own a Tortoise, but I'm thinking about getting one and have been reading up onthem.  Luckily I stumbled upon the TPG because I nearly made the mistake of buying from an online Tortoise shop that delivers through the Animal Courier.  I wasn't comfortable with that and I'm glad I found this site and did some more background research.

I live near Leeds and would ideally like to find a breeder nearby.  I couldn't see a Yorkshire breeder in the list of recommended breeders - does anybody know of one?

Click on the box on the left "Buying a Tortoise / …" for a list of breeders - don't expect to find one 'on the doorstep' as there are fewer breeders N. of Nottingham.
