I have just started completing the application form to try and rehome a tortoise. We are a family with a large garden 1/2 acre. All fully secure, car port with electric and a green house. We will be able to create an area just for the tortoise. However we do have a spaniel.  Who will be kept away. However is this a problem. Will I automoatcally be turned down because I gave a dog. Or do owners of tortoise have dogs in their gardens ?  Thanks for your help
