We as a family would like to get a tortoise. .i have wanted one since I was a child and now that my children are grown up I feel the time is right. I have not owned one before but have been doing some research as to what's involved. We have had the offer of a purpose built 4 ft long  table and have a small garden where an outside habitat can be constructed. 

I do not want to buy from a mail order company or from a pet shop ..i am based in Maidenhead
