Hi, you know I live in a condominium , I bought a tortoise from my school's carnival and it lives with me, it lives at my small garden where there is a lot of plants. I always feed it cabbage. One day, I thought it felt bored, I put it into my male tortoise's tank and there was a wide hole on the cover for them to breathe and when I came back to check ,it was missing!I search the whole garden but I can't find it only the male one was in the tank, I even I put a piece of cabbage and wait for the cabbage to attract the tortoise , from afternoon till night,I waited but still no sign of the tortoise I really have no idea where did it go?Please help me!

Hello Chauntel, If you can't find it, then it's difficult to know what to suggest. Cabbage is not good for torts, which species is the male ? Tanks are not good for torts either. Click on "The tortoise / …." box for a Caresheet. Regards, Tom

It is a turtle, not a tortoise. The water is filthy !! It is of the genus Chrysemys. Go to thetortoisetrust.org to read how to keep it.
