Inside mostly, large bookcase with both basking lamp and uva/uvb lamp, fed mostly on weeds and supplemented with salad leaves (no tomatoes, lettuce or cucumber), a little calcium/d3 powder on top, access to water. Outside when the weathers good.

It could be out in a pen most days from now 'til late Sept', then hibe'd for 3mths. I'd avoid salad leaves. I assume that it has a daily soak, that helps re. urates, I'd not worry, they will appear eventually. Tom

Thanks. We feed the cress type leaves but will grow some tort friendly weeds from now. He's now too keen on dandelion leaves and definitely won't eat the flowers hence giving him salad. I guess he won't starve himself if he hasn't any choice?

They get hooked on salad. For plants to grow & forage go to - tortoises.net - for an A1 book.
