I have 2 Herman tortoise approx. 2 years old. I was told they would not hibernate until they are fully grown. Last winter one did hide away for a couple of days then came back out and carried on eating as usual. I would like to permanently over winter them,is this possible ? and have you any info on the best way to do this. I do have all the necessary lamps.

Hello, Ignore any other 'advice' from that person. They can have 3mths provided that their weight chart is good. I don't understand your last sentence. Click "The Tortoise / ..." box for Hibe info. Tom
