Horsfield/Middlesborough
Posted: 16/02/2009 by TPGJo

We have been asked to rehome a 5yr old male horsfield, who is being rehomed due to over-harrassment of a female he lives with.  He has been hibernated every year since his owner has had him (3 years) and has not lived in a vivarium.  His name is Terry and doesn't appear to have any problems except for his love of female tortoises!  He may be better off living on his own, unless there is a harem of female russians for him.

If you would like to offer this tortoise a new home, please contact us at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line 'Horsfield/Middlesborough'.  The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website, you will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email.  Any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply.

Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that
if you are successful in your application, you will consider a
donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any
donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a
lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have
rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however
occasionally this has occured, therefore as a non profitable group we
rely on your generosity to help our cause.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce Terry moved into his new home today Click and drag me down to the editor

As I was involved with the transport, I have to say, what a delightful, friendly, good-looking tortoise he is !!

I'm sure he's going to settle in and love his new home (and harem) very soon Click and drag me down to the editor
