Hello Everyone,  Just thought you might be interested to hear my little story.    Whilst on holiday in Tunisia last year a small child approached me in a MARKET PLACE in Kantouie and asked me if I liked Tortoises.   Of course I replied that I love Tortoises....   He immediately ran behind a bush and presented me with a box of about 20 hatchlings. !!!    He asked for money but I firmly told him No and then tried to explain that it was highly illegal to take these little beauties out of their country...   This little boy was about 7 or 8 years old. !!!     Best wishes......  Marilyn.. x

I know someone who went on holiday to Tunisia and bought all the tortoises in the market then hired a jeep and released them all back into the wild :-)
Its so sad that this goes on out there but then they have little respect for animals and know no different.
