I don't know if all of you were familiar with Buyatortoise.com, but they were one of the worst of the internet tortoise dealers.  Well, Ian Crosby, the owner of that site has just been successfully prosecuted, and it sounds as if he is now out of business.

I had a little tortoise from this man and he died 10 days after we bought him ,of herpes. I have been involved with the case on this man.He used to have a site called atortoise 4you.com.I was suppose to give evidence in court but he pleaded guilty. I really would like him to have served time for this crime.My little tortoise was in so much pain.

Hi Lyn,

Im so sorry to hear your tortoise died but im afraid he was one of many This dreadful man has had his cards marked for some time, it was only last year an undercover TV crew did a programme on him and his business. Lets just hope they keep checks on him like they said they would and he never trades again.
