does anyone know at what temperature is it too cold to put my horsfield outside please? she does love being outside in her enclosure but now it is getting cooler outside, I wondered if it is too cold for her and when is the right time to stop putting her out? Many thanks Julie :-)

Hi Julie, My horsfields stay out the whole year, even hibernating in the greenhouse. You havent got to worry too much now as the evenings are still mild especially for a horsfield they can take extreme temperature changes, they can take it colder and hotter than other species. When the nights start dropping below 9-10c then id think about adding heat if you dont want to hibernate your tortoise yet. Just make sure you provide a safe dry house, horsfields DO NOT do well in a damp environment. Ali
