I would like to make a plate paddock with the tladys tortoise mix, can I use the topsoil/playsand mix to plant them in?

Hi Kerry, you could try the topsoil/play sand, but weeds grow better in really poor soil, can you get some from your garden?  The poorer the soil the better the weeds seem to grow!!  If you notice outside the best weeds grow along verges where dogs wee, or in the middle of roundabouts on roads!!

Let us know how you get on, and it would be good for other members if you could post some pictures of plate paddock.
