Hello We have been asked to find a forever home for a probably female, leopard tortoise. The current owner bought her approx 1 year ago, she had previously been living in a small vivarium and on a salad diet. Since getting her, the owner has done lots of research, the tortiose has been weaned off the 'naughty' foods and has a good diet of weeds and grass with calcium and nutrobol suppliments, proper heat and light and a larger enlcosure, with time spend outdoors, weather permitting. It has not been an easy decision for the owner to give her up, but she genuinly wants the best for her, and a house move and a baby on the way means that she doesnt feel that she has the time and space to give her the life she deserves. The tortoise is thought to be around 7 years old, weighs 5 kg, and we understand that she has no health issues. If you would like to offer this tortoise a new home, please contact the Rehoming Team at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line 'Newark Leopard '. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY THROUGH THIS FORUM. The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website:- Many thanks Arlene TPG | |
