Our 2 Hermanns have enjoyed burrowing into meadow hay in their hide at night, but we have decided to stop providing it as it's a bit dusty & they have just been treated for respiratory infections.  They show no interest in burrowing into the substrate.

What 'bedding' do you provide in your hides?

Hi, I think most of us use sand/soil mix.  I dont keep Hermanns but I provide this for my med species.  The Horsfields and Ibera love to bury themselves!!  So make it deep!
