hi everyone,im haveing a problem with my tortoise solar glo light,im not sure if its the dome what the bulb is in or the bulb its self.whats happening is the bulb is flickering and now and again goes out for a while then comes back on,we have checked the cable and thats fine and while it flickers could it be damageing my tortoises eyes.iv had both dome and light bulb just over 12 months,as anyone else had the same probs thankyou.

Have you a link to what light this is please?
Most UVB sources should be replaced at less than 12 months because the UVB deteriorates over a period of time.

hi my light is a solar glo uvb and 125 watt heat bulb in one and its supposed to last about 18 month according to manufacturers so i prob might change it and see how i get on thanks for replying.
