Like so many on here this is my very first time hibernating a tort and I found a lot of the info confusing. I read the info on this site and to make it a little easier I drew myself up some charts which told me exactly what I needed to do for that particular day (i know..i'm sad) but it's worked really well for me up to now. For week 4 it tells me to stop the baths until 2 days before putting in the fridge but on other websites they're saying bath right up to putting in the fridge, so now I'm not to sure what to do, even with my little home made charts.

Hi, Hibernation is always a worrying time and even after 12 years of hibernating i still worry :-) I stop bathing mine at least 2 days before they are due to hibernate. They should have emptied themselves by this time anyway and i tend to just leave them be and not unsettle them when they are close to going into hibernation. Ali

Thanks, I'll make sure I bathe her for the next 3 days then, then that should do it hopefully
