Hello all,  My beautiful little Toto (2 yrs old) hibernated himself in early December.  He weighed 165 grm. I have weighed him today and he is now down to 145 grm.   I am getting concerned...  Would it be better to wake him soon rather than let his weight decrease any further ??   He is in a double box in a room which is roughly 5 degrees...  If the weather warms up I change his location to a colder spot.  Please advise.    with love from Marilyn. xx

Hello Arlene,   I woke lil Toto yesterday morning,  when he was fully awake and moving freely I gave him a lovely warm bath..  He didn't appear to drink and he hasn't passed urates yet, but today he has been very active running around.  I shall continue to bathe him daily until I feel more confident that he is functioning normally.  The info you sent me was very informative, thank you.  I was very confdent I was doing everything properly.  I'll keep you informed during the next week days.  love from Marilyn. xx   (He's eaten a few munches of weeds)..

YES !!!!      We have URATES !!!!!   Oh joy !!!  All seems to be normal again.  Thank Goodness for tortoises...  Whoo hoooooo.......  Marilyn. xx
