weve noticed that the tortoises eyes are not clear it looks like conjunctivitus in people what do we do im very very worried please help

One of my young torts had similar 18 months ago, eyes closed up and weeping. Looked awful. I gave him a bath and the eyes opened and cleared within a few hours.
