through all the research weve done this question has never been seen or answered any where and i was curious enough to ask my partner whos also said he isnt sure so here it is do torts see in colour or black and white? | |

Yes they can spot a bright yellow dandelion or pink lavatera flower a mile off!! lol Vivienne | |

sorry if they were attracted to bright colours its dosnt mean they see in colour for certain at all | |

Hi Yes they do have a good sense of smell, but I also agree that they can see in colour - if I am in sandals in the summer and have red nail polish on, my torts will try and bite my toes, if I dont have nail polish, they ignore them! They are also attracted to green items which are non food stuffs, so again have no attractive smell. Arlene TPG | |
