Hello chaps, I woke Mr Brown last Friday (15/1/10) and he seems fine, his weight was 266g, so he had only lost three grams throughout his hibernation, he's having a couple of baths per day, as i havn't seen him drink and was worried about that, he has eaten every day since waking up but only a very small amount, he has had one wee, which contained lots of urates, but i weighed him last night and his weight was 276g, i'm worried as to how he has gained so much weight so quickly, he is also still very sleepy, i have to wake him up the bath him but he only stays up about 40mins then goes and diggs himself down and back to sleep, is this ok???

A big thanks to you all for all your help with my first hibernation.

with the point about the instant weight gain, I've seen this with mine and put it down to post hibernation drinking. Glad it all went well for you.
