Vet recommendation
Posted: 26/01/2010 by Katie

I wonder if anyone might be able to recommed a vet within my area (or surrounding area) with a specialisation in chelonia. I live in Inverness (north of Scotland) and thought I'd check before I make an appointment.

Thanks

Hi Katie,

I've had a look around the usual recommeded vets lists and cant find any listed in your area. I've asked a couple of people if they know of anyone close by. Hopefully they'll know of someone.

Both a long way from you. However, Kevin Eatwell at the University hospital for small animals is a TPG advisor I believe. Maybe you could phone them and ask if they know of a vet near to you?

Many thanks for that Dave. I will contact Kevin Eatwell and see if he can recommend anyone. There also seems to be a small reptile rescue centre not too far outside Inverness so I'll call them and find out who they use.

Thanks again
