Hi Chaps,

Mr Brown has been out of hibernation now for nearly three weeks, but he hasn't had a poo yet, is that normal, he ate straight away after his big sleep, and i am bathing him every day, so he has wee'd but no poo !! He eats then goes back to sleep, he seems healthy enough with bright eyes and a dry nose but is sleeping for most of the day, he only sits under his lamp for a short while before going back to bed.

I wouldn't be too worried. A tortoises metabolism is very slow so the fact he hasn't poo'ed shows he was emptied out during the wind down and has started the year on an empty stomach.
