Are Horsfield supposed to have Red in their shell? I have just seen a pic of a tort, on my Fb. they both have reddish shells. Is that normal?

Hi Claire, no Horsfields dont have red in their shell, it may be the tort needs to see a vet, as it could be internal bleeding (a kind of bruise) or septicemia. Hopefully its just the flash on the camera. Regards Vivienne
