hiya everyone i hope you can help with my problem my shelby seems very sad at the moment she is just laying under her light all legs and head out just laying there she is eating but dos,nt want to move much any ideas thanks love ellen and shelby 

Hi, over the past two weeks my tort was behaving exactly the same, i worked out that her uvb strip light had been used for about six months and was due to be renewed.  So i have got a new one installed now and she seems to have become  much more active and happy

Has she just woken up from hibernation? If so then this could also be why she is behaving sluggish, the weather at the moment is similar to december temps so alot of tortoises are slow. Try increasing the temps abit, is she toileting ok, have you noticed any change lately? Regular warm baths will help to encourage her.

JD has been doing exactly the same thing, but I gave him a nice long soak and he was full of life again, I think it might just be them adjusting to the warmer days
