Archie - Stirlingshire Russian
Posted: 28/03/2010 by tpgarlene

Hello

The Tortoise Protection Group have been asked to find a new forever home for a juvenile russian tortoise called Archie.  Unfortunatley, his owner is working long hours, and feels that he cannot look after him any longer.  Archie is thought to be around 4 - 4 years old and is just over 500g in weight.  He currently lives in a viv, so a nice new home with a tortoise table would be lovely for him.

If you feel you would like to offer this little tortoise a home please email us at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the subject line 'Archie, Stirlingshire Russian'  If you haven’t already completed a Rehoming Application Form, it can be downloaded here:-

http://www.tortoise-protection-group.org.uk/site/131.asp

You will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email. If you experience any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply. Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that if you are successful in your application, you will consider a donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however occasionally this has occurred; therefore as a non profitable group we rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Many thanks

Arlene

Hello - Many thanks to everyone who applied, I am delighted to say that Archie is now settling in nicely with one of our members, with a lovely big tortoise table, and as much of the outdoor life as possible!

A happy ending for Archie,

atb
