HI THERE,IM IN THE PROCESS OF WINDING MY 2 TORTOISE DOWN TO HIBERNATE & 1 OF THEM PASSED FAECES & I NOTICED IT LOOKED LIKE LOTS OF VERY FINE WHITE THREADS IN IT! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS COULD BE & IS IT STILL OK TO HIBERNATE? TILLI | |

Hi Tilli, To be safe i think you need to get your tortoises checked for worms before you hibernate, this could just be what they have eaten coming out but i think its best to get them checked anyway. Ali | |

HI,I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I HAD CHANGED THEIR SUBSTRATE DUE TO THEM EATING IF & PUT A TOWEL IN THEIR TABLE,A WHITE TOWEL!COULD THIS BE WHAT IT IS?I WILL GET THEM CHECKED FOR PEACE OF MIND THOUGH. TILLI | |

Hi, I think you should change their substrate to a mixture of playpit sand and soil that way you wont have to worry about them eating the towel. Ali | |
