I bought a tortoise from this particular shop without mentioning names in around september last year.  I was told a vivarium was ok to put my tortoise in that I purshased from there and have since found out different. I am  now in the process of waiting for delivery of my tortoise table after spending hundreds on a vivarium.  I now find that the same shop now are selling meerkats as well.  I hope they give there customers better advice than they give me when selling them.

Yes it is very sad, you just hope that people will be responsible to research what is involved in keeping a meerkat before they buy, double shame that the pet shops are allowed to sell livestock in the first place!! sorry me having a rant

No the shop isn't in Leicester, I am a little reluctant to say were it is, because everyone will no what the name of the shop is and I don't want to get myself into any bother for liable.  but the shop sell monkeys too.. sad aint it.

I checked the condition of the tortoises to make sure they were ok, they were in a vivarium and there was water and food in at least.
