Hello,

 I have just stumbled across this website whilst looking for info on leopard tortoise housing. I am aware that vivariums are a bad idea. Ours currently are kept inside on a large tortoise table....Large being the big problem! We're downsizing and will not have space for the table and would like to set up a more permanent and suitable outdoor enclosure.

I was really just after a bit of info on size, british whether, terrain and heating/nightime housing.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I have not got personal experience in keeping Leopards but here is a link from this site that gives you advice on keeping leopards including indoor and outdoor habitats.

There is an excellent group dedicated to Leopard tortoises here is the link http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/leopardtortoise-uk/ its free to register.

Jane has posted you the link to our care sheet, but the people on this site all own leopards and will be able to 'talk' you through the best husbandry.
