I live somewhere were there is no reptile vet anywhere and my two Ibera's need to be dewormed, so I sadly don't have any other choice than to do it myself. I been told that Panacur is good and I bought the 2.5% bottle. Now my question is how much do I need to give them, as the leaflet says 1 ml/kg, but I've read that tortoises should be given a different dosage. How much do I need to give them and for how long, they are between 135 and 140 grams?

Hi, you dont need to take the tort to a tortoise specialist for worming, any vet can test and provide worming products.  It isnt expensive either!

I know they have worms and I have the worming product. But I don't know how much to give them, that is the problem. I don't want to give them to much or to little so that they won't get rid of them.

Hi, I am not qualified to advise how much Panacur wormer they should be given, as I dont think the product is designed for tortoises.  Probably best to phone a vet practice up telling them their weights and what quantities they suggest should be given, and if the particular product you have bought is suitable.
