HI all, these are pics of my little mans old and new homes. The new one is having a mesh top made for him to protect from cats & birds. Its 10ft by 4ft. Enough for a 3 inch tortoise!

Would love to know if George is a girl or a boy, if anyone can tell me? I know he may be a bit young at the moment. I think he has a small tail. Dont laugh I bought the large new house for George (bit big) but the cat has other idea's.

The raised bed has mesh at the bottom to stop anything from coming up. George likes to get into plant pots, he has no idea he is supposed to eat this as food. Oh well, as long as his happy

This is fab! I'm hoping to get my first tortoise in a month or two and am planning ahead; I just LOVE George's new enclosure and am already formulating new landscaping plans in my garden! Thank you for posting. How much of the enclosure have you laid to grass, and how much is substrate? Is it all meshed out underneath?

Half is grass half is soil. He spends most of his time in the soil end and loves to dig underneath the soil. The whole enclosure has mesh underneath and he now has a very strong heavy lid all the way down. (I can post the pics of the lid if you want ideas?) he's a very happy little man now. All the weeds have started to grow and it now looks even better.
