Wild Caught (WC):   

Tortoises which have been caught or trapped in the wild and brought into captivity.   Generally WC tortoises are carriers of parasites and more prone to sickness due to stress of capture and shipping.

Wilderness:   

An area that is empty or barren and is in its natural uncultivated state.

Wild:   

Not tame or kept as a pet, but living freely in a natural habitat.

Worms:   

Intestinal parasite.  See Pinworm and Roundworm.  Commonly encountered in imported tortoises, a large worm burden can cause weight loss, in appetence, diarrhoea and other digestive problems.
